Artist Statement: My work highlights moments of human interaction, intimacy and anonymity. I like to bring subject matter that is referential in terms of proximity to the actual moments of intimacy rather than the acts themselves. I utilize printmaking as a way to make a multiple and bring repetition in a way to contribute to the concept as well as content. The pieces I create capture things that are often overlooked and put aside. By bringing these aspects to the for front I want my audience to have nostalgia about their own memories so that they can insert their own ideals, and the piece acts as a reflective moment.
